    What a crappy week! I say that with absolutely no pun intended, as the flu ravaged our house this past week (and the ending of last week). Every one of us came down with it with the exception of Tara, who somehow used her super-immunity to avoid getting sick despite being the first one there to aid those of us who were down for the count. Thanks dear, we all appreciate your help!

    The flu put an end to our sporting activities during the week, ruling out basketball and the baseball clinic that the kids are signed up for. Thankfully we were all healthy enough by Friday to make our scheduled trip to Chuck E. Cheese's to celebrate the fact that Jayden hadn't had a potty training accident in over a week. We are all happy that she has reached this milestone, and we are equally as proud of her. Way to go Jay!     We did manage to make both the basketball games on Saturday as well. Tyler's team played a close game, and his two free throws played a major role in getting us the win. Pictures of his game can be seen by clicking on Tyler's Basketball on the Current Events page. Samantha's game didn't go so well, and I am still steaming over the final score.
